Phil Spector, pop producer convicted of murder, dies aged 81

Producer who revolutionised music in 1960s with his ‘wall of sound’ dies while serving sentence Phil Spector, the music producer behind some of pop music’s biggest hits, has died aged 81 while serving a prison sentence for murder.
