Tony Rice, the master bluegrass picker, has died at the age of 69.
Rice, famous for the quick, fluid sounds conjured from his Martin D-28 guitar, died on Friday at his home in Reidsville, North Carolina, according to International Bluegrass Music Association spokesperson Casey Campbell.
