Saved by the Bell actor Dustin Diamond dies aged 44

The actor, who played Screech in the high-school sitcom, had recently been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer Actor Dustin Diamond, best known for playing Screech on high school sitcom Saved by the Bell, has died at the age of 44. Diamond had been diagnosed last month with stage 4 small cell carcinoma, or lung cancer, and been in treatment ever since. His representative Roger Paul confirmed the news of his death.
